Sprint - 21 year customer fed up.
I bought my first cell phone while in the military in 1997. I was a loyal customer for 21 years.
Never tried to cheat them out of anything, (over)paid my bills on time. Last December I bought my daughter a iPhone and line. She had issues with the phone turning off randomly (phone was a certified pre own). Finally about a month ago it shut off and didnโt work.
I called sprint, went to a store and even went to an Apple store with a sprint store rep. The Apple store rep showed me that my daughters phone had a slight bend on one side and thatโs why it didnโt work. My daughter kept her phone in. A life proof case and never dropped it.
Sprint refused to replace it, even after I threatened to leave. Is they have lost$450 a month from me, while Iโm saving $150 by switching to Verizon.
Now I have better service and a cheaper bill. PLUS I own my phone now instead of โleasingโ it.
