Terrible customer service

I have been having multiple problems with this company lately. Problems like honoring things that they promise and almost never is made.

I talked to a associate at the call center, she takes the position of a senior advisor for sprint, when she's only a representative that answers calls. I confront her about it and admits about it. I ask for her Id number n tell her that I'm going to make a complaint about her and ends the phone call with her. Then all of a sudden my mom, sister, brother and dad calls me up asking who is this lady asking where I was( Dean Yoneda).

My account was all screwed up from about the ending of June 2020 till December 3, 2020. That whole time period they would not and was told not to pay for my bill until i was told that I could pay for the bill. I finally got to pay for it on Dec. 3, 2020.

A total of about. $1293.00 and on that same day was told why I was grumbling about 2 free phones of my choice to replace on my account free of charge for all of the problems that I've occurred over that time period. The way some of the higher up employees were very rude. Spent many and many hours on the phone with sprint.

Some phone calls going over 12 hours long and within that time frame and others been hung up on, disconnected after talking to that person for hours. The really bad thing about that is that when you get disconnected from a representative that you were talking to and then get disconnected, there's no way to get a hold of them. According to all of the workers there. Everytime you speak to someone new, you have to tell them the whole story of what's going on.

Somedays that I've been there or calling , I've spoken to more than 15 plus agents. I've told them many times to watch what time they're calling. I've been contacted a few times really early in the morning, like at 1am, 4am snd not think anything's wrong with calling then. I've asked them to be terminated from the agreement for the contracts of the phones and iPads cause of all the problems and that's not all of the problems that I've had with them in that time period.

I've also been threatened about being sued. I was never asked if I was a veteran when I signed up. I'm saying this cause if you are serving, retired from with an honorable discharge. You get a disconnected price on plans, phones and other things that they sell and services that they provide.

So in a way they've cheated me out of about $100.00 a month just for the the service fee for the data package. I've been with them for about a year and a half, do just that part they've already cheated out of me the sum of about $3600.00 . Who knows what else they've cheated out of me or even you. A higher up worker told me that it was my fault that I didn't ask for it.

I told him that I didn't think so cause as a patron, we don't even touch the contract or really can see it until we have to sign it. I was calling them up on almost a daily basis throughout that time period and because of that my roommates were getting very upset and irritated about that situation at me. In spite of all this I've tried to hold my tongue back but wasn't able to at some instances where I was asking in a very calm and collective manner. But when I asked someone to speak to a higher up advisor nicely over 10 times in a row and di nothing really about it and say that they won't get them and then spit in your face???

That's what I get for being nice, helpful, giving, and other things , then get accused of doing something wrong when you did nothing at all. There's a lot more things that they have done bad. It's just to give you some idea of what I've been dealing with and going through with them.

Sprint - Dishonest and lack of total care for customer and security of information.

I have never in my life encountered a company that is this dissatisfying . They refuse to help unless you have a code.

Asked for my personal iCloud info after I told them about a possible theft and online fraud. Completely not trustworthy. I dont trust the company nor the employees at the Smithfield location in RI. Do your research before Signing up with them.

They could care less about you. This is not the rant of an angry person but the warning of potentially sensitive information reaching the hands of those who do Ill will.

Promotion denial without cause

Updated by user Dec 21, 2020

So far they want to play phone tag and pass me off to someone else over and over. Awaiting a call from corporate possibly.

Original review Dec 21, 2020
We moved our service from a carrier over to sprint during the clean slate event. We moved over 3 lines and traded in 2 phones.

Which when we traded the phones in and switched the lines we were told we would get our reimbursement after the account was active for 90 days. Surprise surprise they denied one of the phone reimbursement without reasoning. I have been fighting with them over chat emails and phone calls. They are refusing to pay my early term fees and reimbursement plus late fees since they did not reimburse us in a timely manner.

I have talked or chatted with approximately 17 different people and gotten no where.

I will not be detoured I am not going to stop until they finally resolve this issue for me and my family. BTW if you call customer service more than likely you will be transfered to someone in the Philippines that barely speaks English.

Serious car rollover accident back in June taking friend to Vegas...had to be airlifted to vegas hospital...lost everything including 2 sprint phones...when I was able to leave hospital, flew home ...no phone, no car, no laptop...after weeks of recovery I borrowed phone to check my sprint acct, but had to verify with text sent to my phone? Which of course I didn't have and no one at sprint knew how to get into their own phone..spent 4 hours with 3 salespeople and then 3 supervisors...got fed up...needed a phone switched TMobile and still sprint wanted my business...

t-mobile was a breeze setting up...sprint then said I owed on the other phone...so we came to agreement how much to pay and settled on an amount and account was to close since I went tmobile after being a loyal sprint customer over 10yrs...now several months later they send threatening email that I owe more than the amount before and going to collections...really? Wtf is up with this?

No communication whatsoever and a phone company that can't even get into my acct without their phone!! Inept, inept, inept

Worst service ever. I can't get any help from the company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My phone keeps dropping calls for a year now. I have received no help on resolving the situation.

I bought a new phone to go on the line and they can't even connect it at the store. They told me to call but my phone keeps dropping the calls. They are happy to charge me to end the lease but they don't keep up their end of the contract by providing service that works.

Run from this company. Don't do it you will be stuck in a contact and if you have issues, you will not get it resolved and will have to pay to get out of the contract

Ending service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This is going to be quite boring because the problem was with AT&;;;;;T and not Sprint. AT&T was supposed to notify Sprint that I had canceled my service but didn't!!!

I was all ready to be frustrated and irate...but couldn't because 1.

The Sprint rep was SO nice and helpful 2. It wasn't Sprints fault.

Supervisor is not helping me well.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On 02/02/21 at 12:00am I spoke with the supervisor name Niecy over an hour. I told her I have problems with my account and help me with the payment issue, since Sprint promised me that my account will be fine after keep my phone.

Again I have to repeat myself several times regarding my issue. She doesn't seem like to understand my situation, I told her I have an issue under my account, but she kept saying under NY state law I can not keep the phone, which I never knew it I was able to keep my another phone.

My situation is something not on under the payment bill, I explain to her it's something you have to review under the recorded line, but seems like she just doesn't want to help me, very unsatisfied with her work. Sprint reps always nice and try to help me all the time, but not her.

Need new simcard

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Was unable to get new simcard for my galaxy phone. Said it wasn't supported any more.

My phone is in perfect operating condition, and I have to throw it away because of a stupid little simcard?

I can't believe that there is not a bunch of those little critters available in the system. It doesn't seem possible to me!

Sprint is a very bad company to deal with. I tell everyone to avoid SPRINT at all costs

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Had to discontinue service due to resolve issue. I was sold a 55 per month plan unlimited for two lines only to discover plan was 25 per month more then we had agreed to.

Spent at least 12 hours talking to six different agents to have the original plan honored but the agents all said the service I was sold (we have the agreement in writing from original saleswoman).

No one I spoke with could resolve as the only option was to honor the original agreement.

If I cannot trust the honesty of the sales force, I cannot do further business with sprint.

At this point given the extreme hassle and time waste of trying to be a sprint customer, I happily cancel my sprint service never to reconnect any conceivable time in the future

User's recommendation: Select a carrier other than sprint or expect a good portion of the interaction to be untruthful. Definitely buyer beware.

Four weeks later....

November 2, 2020.

So we canceled our service. The day before cancelling, I contcted customer service for a return kit for the phones we purchased. Never arrived, called again, was told return kit was on the way - never arrived, called again was told kit was on the way - never arrived again.

Called again and was now told after five times being told kit was on the way, that phones could not be returned through customer service, we had to go through the store where purchased.

Went to store. Guess what - they said they could receive returned phones that that had to got through customer service. Back to customer service - they said had to go through the store. Back to store - again would not take phones back.

Called customer service again - was now told yes they would send a return kit and we would have it in 16 day.

16 days have come and gone and no return kit.

Now we are receiving bills (and likely late fees) from sprint for the cost of the phones. The only thing we know to do at this point is return the phones certified mail to the billing department. We assume they will take us to court for the money. So - we will have to get some resolution from the judge when we are taken to court.

What an awful company..

Seemingly they did every possible thing in their power to lose me as a customer.

And what a joke - now I am getting notices to please come back - here are the savings we will give you. Ain't happening in this lifetime
